At our first ultrasound with this baby the doctor was quite certain it was a girl. Looking back,we should've waited to tell the kids, but we didn't. Maya was SOOO excited she would be having a little sister. Anyway, at the second ultrasound we learned the baby was actually a boy. Maya cried when we told her, but she's turned her attitude around and is excited to have the baby that "Heavenly Father wants us to have". We keep reminding her that she's our "only princess", but the kids are sure that "when" we have another one it'll be a girl. Only time will tell...

we have friends in "the other ward" who cried when she found out that the baby was a girl. Why? because now she wouldn't be Special. ;) So, Maya, buck up and take your sceptor and tiara and carry your title of Princess with pride! :)

It was fun to see your comment the other day on my blog! Do you live in Seattle? That's sad that we live in the same state and we have never seen each other! Are you ready for some sun or what??? It's been fun looking at all your posts and learning more about you family. We'll have to get together sometime. When are you having a baby?
